PURPOSE:

The main responsibility of the Account Executive position is to lead the day-to-day account management for assigned clients and to serve as the link between the agency and the clients by serving as the main point of contact ,and managing all associated tasks for the client’s advertising and marketing communication campaigns.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead day-to-day account management
  • Manage daily Dealer and Sales Manager communications
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Dealers and Sales Manager
  • Understand client’s needs and objectives and plan campaigns accordingly
  • Present, alongside agency colleagues, the campaign ideas and budget to the client
  • Oversee creative execution/production
  • Work with media, creative, and production staff to formulate marketing strategies
  • Print coordination – acquiring content from client and overseeing creative
  • Coordinate projects with third party vendors and participates in reporting
  • Collaborate with the Media Director and/or Media Buyer to communicate media strategy and budgets
  • Execute client campaigns on time and within budget
  • Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and make adjustments when needed
  • Plan and lead client meetings and conference calls
  • Prepare all presentation materials for monthly/quarterly meetings
  • Take meeting notes and prepare a summary and action plan within 3 business days of meeting
  • Manage budgets and monthly billing
  • Study and know client competition
  • Track sales results/regional/national
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Attend industry webinars or trainings and present summary to the team
  • Intimate knowledge of each client’s market

CORE COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 4 + years of client management experience
  • Advertising agency experience and knowledge of retail and automotive marketing communications preferred
